Building on the successful launch of its fire rated range of wall breather membranes and sealing tapes, Glidevale Protect has expanded its commercial team with the appointment of Kelly Phipps to the role of Head of Sales Specification for Fire Rated Solutions.

The new role underlines the importance Glidevale Protect places on its fire rated solutions category as it continues to invest, develop and manufacture product solutions offering fire protection across low, medium and high rise buildings. The company’s fire rated ‘FR’ range consists of its Class A2-s1, d0 flame retardant external wall breather membranes Protect FrameSafe FR and its unbranded counterpart Protect FrameSafe 5000 FR for open façade cladding applications, as well as specialist FR sealing tapes.

Having worked with Glidevale Protect for more than 20 years since he joined as a technical sales representative in 2001, Kelly brings with him extensive industry knowledge and has helped countless customers navigate the product specification process over the last 24 years. In his new role Kelly will focus specifically on supporting specifiers by providing transparent and reliable technical information relating to fire safety and the performance benefits of Glidevale Protect’s fire rated membrane range. In addition to his new responsibilities, Kelly is Head of Sales for the Own Brand business of Building Product Design, the parent company of Glidevale Protect.
