Phil Parry has rejoined the UK’s biggest manufacturer and recycler of PVC-U windows and doors, Eurocell, as its Profiles Commercial Director. The appointment is a core part of its focus to drive forward technical innovation and best practice in the design of PVC-U window and door systems.

Phil most recently held the position of Technical Director at Epwin Window Systems, and has previously held similar roles at aluminium extrusion specialist Garnalex and extruded PVC-U profiles manufacturer Synseal Group.

In his new role as Profiles Commercial Director, Phil will lead Eurocell’s Profiles team, drawing on his twenty five years of technical and market experience in the fenestration industry. He will drive the team’s focus on customer-led innovation, working directly with fabricators, testing houses, regulatory bodies and key stakeholders to identify system improvements and develop products that are technically superior, more efficient, and deliver real benefits to the market. Eurocell has championed these practices for decades, with systems like Logik and Modus a testament to that innovation.

Phil originally worked at Eurocell from 2003 to 2014, during which time he played a key role in the introduction of Window Energy Ratings, becoming an internal subject matter expert alongside leading on testing, standards & compliance. As new fabricator requirements came into force, he transitioned into the new build sector, helping educate fabricators and supporting sales teams to navigate complex legislation.

Speaking on his appointment, Phil said:

“I’m really excited to be back at Eurocell. I’ve known many of our customers for years, and I consider them friends as much as customers, so I’m excited to return and bring back everything I’ve learnt to help them succeed.

“With big regulatory shifts like the Future Homes Standard on the horizon, technical innovation and design with real purpose is more important than ever, and that’s something I’m looking forward to championing in my new role.”

On bringing Phil back to the business, Will Truman, chief executive officer at Eurocell, added:

“Phil’s commercial expertise and experience in the industry make him exceptionally well placed to drive forward our customer-focused strategy for our profile business  – we’re excited to be welcoming him back.

“For a long time we have backed innovation in our profiles division and with a continued tightening in building regulations, standards and technical expectations, we have to be at the forefront of this to help guide our partners. Phil’s appointment is a crucial part of this commitment for Eurocell and he will be a key in our innovations in profiles to come.”
