BIPVco Inside Offsite Factory Tour

at BIPVco, G Cell Building, South Lake Drive, Imperial Park, Newport, NP10 8AS

To give you some background, BIPVco was created as a business in April 2015 following 5 years of collaborative research between Tata Steel Europe and Swansea University / SPECIFIC. BIPVco has assembled a world-class UK manufacturing team with experience in crystalline and thin film engineering, pre-finished steel roof and wall cladding coatings, and created a premium facility for the production of photovoltaic.

On Wednesday 13th June, BIPVco will be opening the doors of its Newport (Wales) manufacturing facility to offsite manufacturers working with residential developers and companies offering volumetric solutions to the Public Sector who want to learn about the BIPVco manufacturing process, systems and services.

During the tour, visitors will be able see the in house, highly innovative and high output manufacturing systems that can facilitate the demands of the range of photovoltaicroof systems currently available in the market whilst maintaining efficiency of manufacture and product quality at every stage of the process.

These tours are FREE to attend.

There are two session times to choose from:

Morning Session: 09.30am -13.30pm


Afternoon Session: 13.00pm – 16.30pm*

(*Lunch will be provided for both groups between 13.00-13.30pm)

Once booked a member of staff will be in touch to confirm your booking and session time.

NB. You will not be booked on to attend until the host company has confirmed your booking.
