Explore Offsite at Ecobuild 2018

06-08 March 2018 at Excel, London

Returning for its second year, the Offsite district in partnership with Explore Offsite, will bring you a ground-breaking exhibition of offsite construction solutions and masterclasses, the largest of its kind ever seen in the UK!

The UK offsite construction market is expanding rapidly, at more than 35% per annum, and for some sectors offsite technology has become commonplace. However, with an estimated share of just 10% of the construction market, the opportunity for offsite remains phenomenal. Visitors will gain a comprehensive and balanced perspective on this rapidly evolving sector. They will experience a wide range of offsite technology from a host of UK and international suppliers, andview for themselves the major advances in offsite manufacturing.

  • Framing systems in concrete, timber and steel
  • Modular and volumetric systems
  • Bathroom and kitchen pods
  • Offsite roofing technology
  • Pre-engineered building services
  • Offsite technologies and a range of prefabricated building components

Learn about the latest in offsite technology developments with expert information and seminars on solving the housing shortage, using offsite technology to construct a more sustainable environment, and how the industry is responding to unprecedented demand through greater investment in lean manufacturing systems. Free CPD accredited Explore Offsite Technology Masterclasses will run daily throughout the show to offer an independent perspective of the offsite construction sector. Intensive training masterclasses will address the drivers and benefits of using offsite construction technology and provide visitors with the knowledge to successfully apply these techniques.

"Ecobuild always reflects the state of the market, highlighting the most topical talking-points. We have made a major commitment to establishing Explore Offsite at Ecobuild, working in partnership with industry pioneers, Cogent Consulting, to develop a host of complementary activities that will make offsite construction a key attraction in 2017”

Martin Hurn, Brand Director, Ecobuild

"Increasingly, the construction industry is turning its attention to the substantial benefits offsite technology can offer. In order to make the most of what is possible, clients, contractors and industry at large must have up-to-date knowledge of what offsite technology suppliers can offer."

Darren Richards, Managing Director, Cogent Consulting
